Saving the kids of saint john the baptist parish

Robert Taylor is fighting on behalf of the kids of St. John the Baptist Parish in Louisiana because of this plant that is poisoning the community. The kids couldn't have a more climate-cool local hero than Robert, who played in bands with the late great Otis Redding and Etta James.

If you want to know the communities you're killing the next time you buy or use some needless piece of #plastic, they're looking you in the face right now from St. John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana, at Ground Zero #Cancer Alley. Change is gonna come. Be part of the solution.

This is the Fifth Ward Elementary School in St. John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana.

Climate-active Robert Taylor wanted to show me how close the school is to the Denka chemical plant, but the children were herded inside as soon as he arrived (before I got this footage). There's a lot going on just beneath the surface in St. John the Baptist Parish way beyond this post. Yet these differences aside, it's difficult to deny that the children at this school are at an enormous #cancer risk.

A change is gonna come.
