Going down south

Flynn and I walked in the meadows past the oaks and pepper trees.

So much to take care of, thankfully, during breaks.

I weeded bacopa, the green and mottled kind, whose vines were strangling the geraniums and primroses; cleaned; swept the floors; watered all of the veggies and fruits; and, otherwise, made myself useful.

I texted hearts to the people on my love beat.

I wandered in a wonderland of colorful yellow, purple, orange, gold, and green with a black and white collie.

I’m flying to Louisiana tomorrow. The Healthy Living Foundation, for which I am the chief officer, is having @zerowater000 filter pitchers shipped to the nonprofit group St. James Rising. The problem the folks in this parish have is their water comes from the surface waters of the Mississippi River. It’s filled with herbicides and industrial chemicals, according to the local water agency report.

I don’t know what kind of faucets everyone has; so, pitchers are the most practical. The Zerowater pitcher removes organic chemicals like per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) as well as solvents and pesticides. It’s a good start at empowering folks by letting them know people care about their health. I hope I get to meet some of the folks.
